Recently my dear neighbor brought to my attention my old post about how bad I am in handling goodbye. I guess that statement is still very much valid :(
It is very unreal for me to write a post about (my own) goodbye.
Ten and a half years is by no means short for my standard (in fact it is even longer than my Bandung stint). In 1999 both of us innocently came to this Kampung Singa with the ideal dream of becoming rocket scientist (although one year researching around was more than enough to enlighten us that becoming corporate slave is the (much easier) way to go). Along the way we met many friends, good one, bad one, new one and some old stocks that reconnect along the way. It was fun when it last, and I honestly don't want it to last.
I suck at goodbye (period), and I can't think of anything wise to leave a good goodbye impression. So, there you go guys, thanks for everything (especially the memory) and don't mock me in case I'll be a cry baby tomorrow.
Keep in touch and don't be lazy to update (and create - *you-know-who-you-are*) a facebook account, and do visit us when you happen to be down under one day.
