Heavy hearted she went to the Internet cafe and wrote him an email. Asking if he doesn't mind dropping by Sydney in 6 months time when he finished his exchange semester in Beijing and then they can start over again.
*Ding* An email coming. From Marek. His flight this morning was cancelled due to the snow (snow? what snow? in Cuzco?) He was sick, had to go to the toilet every few minutes and had checked in a hotel 5 minutes away. He wondered if she doesn't mind coming and help feeling sorry for him. She ran out to his hotel, asking everyone along the way about the snow. Si seƱorita! Snow! A lot of snow this morning! The first time in Cuzco in 20 years... very beautiful. No more now. Snow melts. No more. But beautiful. First snow in 20 years.
Marek was curling under the blanket feeling ill when Rianti knocked on the door. Glad she came. She even went out to buy some chicken soup for him. After he felt better she suggested they watched Mulan on her laptop. Fine, Marek thought. Had no idea why she suddenly wanted to watch a silly Disney movie. After the movie finished she handed him the print out copy of the email that she wrote him this afternoon.
"So you'll marry me?", he asked.
"Uh-huh, I guess so"

No, this is not a review of Yolli's Korean Princess TV series nor a new best-seller romantic novel. This is, amazingly, a true story of my happy-go-lucky Sis meeting her lucky-go-happy Scandinavian Bloke. The story spread for almost eight years, numerous "other" girlfriends (this is an assumption) and boyfiends (this one is for sure) in between, pastports missing here and there (trust me both will lost their limbs if it was not attached permanently), cruising through four Continents and end happily ever after. Well at least that we all wish it will be :) .. And in three more days (Rianti are you sure??) they will tie a knot in a beatiful romantic island of Bali. Congratulation and wish both of you all the best (And don't forget to invite us if you go back to Norway in winter) ...
Current casualities: Mom-In-law's evening gown missing in Bangkok, Dad-In-law's air ticket accidentally left behind in Singapore (thanks God for e-ticket), and counting ... You guys better watch out for your wedding band and consider to get a tattoo of your wedding cert :) ...
PS: Go to Rianti & Marek for the complete story ....
